Spin up Col du Soulor.

Went for a spin up Col du Soulor this afternoon. It was very warm and sunny in the Pyrénées today, the temperature in Saint Savin was 20°c (68°f), while on Col du Soulor it was 14°c (57°f). Not much snow up there now. The ski stations on Col du Soulor and Hautacam will close tomorrow, fresh snow is forecast for next weekend, if it is sufficient they will reopen, if not, that’s it for the season. All the other stations are open and should be open until the middle of March at least. The managers of Tourmalet and Cauterets say they expect to be open until mid April. The warm weather is expected to last until next Friday, before a short return to the snow followed by an early spring.
