The Route du Sud which finished in Pau on Sunday was won by Vasili Kiryienka of Belarus, riding for the Spanish ProTour team Movistar.

In second was the Italian veteran Davide Rebellin who will be 40 in August.

In third place was Manx rider Peter Kennaugh. It was a great performance from the 22 year old. I think he will be a big star over the next decade.
