After the start in Argeles-Gazost I came back up home to Saint Savin, the first riders were through the village in about 1 hour 20 minutes. Approx 1200 riders took part in the race.

Australian Pro rider John Freiberg is staying with us at the moment. John is recovering from a serious accident and has come to the Pyrénées to get fit again, before returning to race in Australia. John finished 24th today so must be well on the way.

This was the most amusing part of the day, they were watching each other like hawks.
