Today was the rest day between stage 16 and 17. But there was not much rest. Many of the riders were spotted on the Marie Blanque this morning, some on bikes and some in cars along with team managers and owners. This afternoon some tour royalty assembled on the Tourmalet to mark the first crossing of the col 100 years ago today. Two of our guests from Wales Stuart & Mike rode up to have a look and took some photos.
