Every day is getting a little warmer and a lot greener. The snow is fast retreating up the mountains and everybody is getting out the garden furniture. Temperatures this week are forecast for as high as 25°c.
Summer is slowly arriving in the Lavedan Valley.
This photo was taken from room 4 showing the view up the valley towards the Pic Long (3132m) and Col du Tourmalet. Next Sunday 25th of April will see the closure of all the Ski stations for this season. The last 4km of Col du Tourmalet will remain closed for at least another month.
