This is the Col du Tourmalet today, as you can see there is still lots of snow. The ski stations will be open for another 3 weeks. It will be 8 weeks until the col is open for cycling, but if the warm weather continues it may be possible to ride a few weeks before then. This photo is taken at the SuperBerages ski station which is 4 km from the summit. You can cycle up this far which is at 1800m altitude.
