Climbed Hautacam this morning.

It was a beautiful morning with clear blue skies. I left straight after breakfast to climb to Col du Tramassel. This climb is the dead-end at the summit after Hautacam, it is another 1.5km further up. At 16km at 8% average, this is one of the hardest climbs there is, it is only beaten locally by the Col du Tourmalet and then only because the Tourmalet is longer. There is a Cafe at the summit and the view is magnificent .

It was hot in Saint Savin this afternoon.

This afternoon temperatures got up to 33°c.
