In 1914 Don Kirkham and Ivor Munro were the first Australians to ride Le Tour de France. They finished a respectable 17th and 20th place in Paris and began a very proud record for their country which has reached a new glory with the victory of Cadel Evans. Sorry but I don’t have any photos of Cadel Evans. Not that I would show on here anyway. I have been to 5 Tours and 5 other races that Cadel was riding and I have not managed to get a good photo yet.
