The Val d'Azun is one of the best known valleys in the Pyrenees. It is the valley that will take you from Argeles-Gazost to Col du Soulor, Aubisque, Lac d'Estaing, Le Tech, Col de Borderes and Col de Couraduque. It is my favourite place for cycling and this time of year the autumn colours are amazing and the roads are deserted. I think these will be the last autumn photos of 2012, after this it will be snow. By the way, the name Val d'Azun comes from the Gascon language and means "Valley of Light".
