This is a view of the village of Arcizan-Avant which is about 1km up hill from Saint Savin. I took this on the descent back to Saint Savin from Lac d’Estaing this morning. It was a good cycle in 26°c heat. There is an excellent café here called Chez Michelle, it is a great stop for lunch. Lac d’Estaing is a 16km climb from Saint Savin and is one of my favorite rides, fantastic scenery up at the Spanish border.
